Course Syllabus
Semester 1: Foundational IT Skills
- Computer Fundamentals: Hardware parts, internal memory structures (RAM/ROM), and CPU processing architecture.
- Operating Systems: Practical training on Microsoft Windows settings, file configurations, and essential DOS commands.
- Office Automation Tools: Mastery over the Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word, Excel spreadsheet functions, and PowerPoint slide transitions.
- Data Communication & Networks: Introduction to network infrastructure types like LAN, MAN, WAN, and various topological layout
Semester 2: Advanced Software & Programming
- Database Management System (DBMS): Fundamental database structure rules, information design using Microsoft Access, or writing introductory queries with SQL.
- Web Technology Basics: Designing simple web pages using structural structural elements of HTML, presentation layers via CSS, and introductory programming concepts.
- Introductory Programming: Building basic programmatic problem-solving logic through flowchart design and functional scripts in language suites like C,python or Visual Basic 6.0
- Project Work & Practical Exams: A comprehensive end-of-course project requiring students to independently deploy application software systems or custom web forms
